At a recent event hosted by CSC in New Delhi presided by the Honorable Minister of Communications and IT, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, team PayU presented how village level entrepreneurs can take online payments via tools that they are well versed with like: Email and SMS.

VLEs, technology and payments

350+ village level entrepreneurs from across India attended the event. Collecting payments on time has been one of the biggest problems which VLEs face.

Most VLEs are adopting to new tools for doing business eg: facebook, Email and Smartphones.
