All of us are experiencing significant challenges due to COVID-19 pandemic. At PayU, we understand that the feelings of anxiety and distress must be even more apparent than ever due to a prolonged work-from-home for the first time, social isolation and financial insecurity.
In a time of such uncertainty, we wanted to ensure our employees that we are there to support them. This being said, PayU has partnered with ComPsych to give our employees access to professional counselling services and resources when they need it during COVID-19 through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The services include confidential counselling, legal support and financial information, with resources available to them 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Whether an employee needs a little extra support or is getting stressed due to the news of the corona outbreak, the EAPs wide range of services will help them get back on track.
We’re here to Help!
All that an employee needs to do is register on their website, enter the provided organisation (PayU) ID and create an account. They can also call on the dedicated toll-free number and speak to a counselling professional who will listen to their concerns and guide them to the appropriate services they require.
What will Our Employees Have Access to with PayU EAP?
Confidential Counselling
The EAP is designed to provide short-term counselling services for employees and their dependents to help them handle concerns constructively before they become major issues. They can call the professionals anytime about concerns such as marital, relationship and family problems; stress, anxiety and depression; grief and loss, job pressures and substance abuse.
Legal Support
For many people, balancing the needs of their personal lives with their job responsibilities isn’t easy. And it can be more difficult when they are involved in legal issues. As mentioned above, the EAP offers legal consultation to help our employees navigate a broad array of legal concerns. The employees can seek guidance and direction from legal experts on a variety of issues, over a phone call. They can call for information and resources on legal issues such as contracts and agreements, debt, landlord/tenant issues, divorce, civil and criminal actions and more.
Financial Information
As many businesses face the impact of COVID-19 and many employees face a reduction in salaries, money management and how to cope with the financial crisis is on everybody’s mind right now With the GuidanceResources benefit, our employees can get answers about budgeting, debt management, tax issues and other money concerns from on-staff financial experts, simply by calling the toll-free number.
GuidanceResources® Online
The employees can go online to access timely, expert information on thousands of topics, including relationships, work, school, children, wellness, legal, financial and free time.
Apart from this initiative, PayU also added COVID-19 treatment in the Employee Insurance Policy which also includes their family members. Also, an emergency 24*7 IVR Number was launched for the support of the employees.
