Depending on the bank&#8217;s processing time, it can take up to five to seven business days for the refund to reflect in the customer&#8217;s source account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to track refunds<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a refund is initiated, it can be in either of these stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#2ace21\" class=\"has-inline-color\">SUCCESS<\/span><\/strong>: This indicates that the refund has been processed successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#d8171a\" class=\"has-inline-color\">FAILURE<\/span><\/strong>: This indicates that the refund processing failed. These callbacks can be configured for refund successes, failures, and all status updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ARN generation: <\/strong>An Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) is a unique number generated by banks for online transactions. This ARN is generated within 24-72 business hours of a successful refund. A callback for successfully uploading ARN can be made to the URL configured by the business.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to fund your refunds<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>PayU does not charge any processing fees for refunds. However, transaction fees PayU charges on successful transactions are not reversed into the business\u2019s account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Refunds can be sourced from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Daily settlements<\/strong>:<strong> <\/strong>The refund amount can be deducted from the business\u2019s daily sales till the amount is exhausted. By default, all refunds are deducted from the business\u2019s daily sales.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Overdraft account: <\/strong>If a business does not wish refunds to be deducted from its daily sales, PayU supports an overdraft functionality that allows the business to park additional funds for refunds with PayU.
